Leaders Conference 2025

  • Citygate Church 138A Holdenhurst Road Bournemouth, Dorset BH8 8AS United Kingdom (map)

We are delighted to invite you to join us at the Commission Leaders Conference 2025!

Over the past decade or so, we have seen so much fruit as a result of the work and ministry of Commission churches - thousands of lives have been transformed by Jesus, and have joined this growing global family, which now spans over 300 churches, with connections in over 15 countries. Our vision is truly becoming a reality!

But friends, there is so much more to come...

In Nehemiah 2:18 it says, "so they began this good work". There has of course already been so much good work undertaken across Commission, as churches and individuals, but in this season of change and transition, we are believing that this is a new chapter full of promise and abundance, and we are called to begin this good work, together.

We are a family that is marked by God's lavish love and grace, rooted in the Word, with a desire to see His many gifts expressed and harnessed for the expansion of His mighty kingdom. YOU are part of this family and this story, called to lead wherever God has placed you, to have maximum IMPACT and to see lives transformed in your very midst.

So, join us in Bournemouth this June, as we gather for three days of teaching, worship and fellowship with our global family, to be re-envisioned, deepen relationships and gather momentum for the road ahead as we continue on this adventure together.

Who's it for?

This event is for anyone in our Commission churches, or who may be looking in, who holds a leadership position of any kind, inside or outside the church; small group leaders, kids leaders, youth leaders, trustees, serving team leaders, workplace and community leaders, leaders in the home - if you lead anything at all then you're invited!

Find details of the different seminar options below:

  • Social Action Impact : From Relief to Restoration - Isaiah 61 in Practice // Natalie Williams & Rachel Wilson
Churches across the world engage in crisis support for people living in poverty, but are we following the model set out in Isaiah 61? God’s heart for people who have experienced hardship goes beyond relief from their suffering, towards release, restoration, and becoming restorers of others. In this seminar, Natalie and Rachel from Jubilee+ will outline the biblical vision for holistic transformation, and explore what this looks like in practice.

Ephesians 4 Impact : Local Church as a Gospel Movement (Part 1) // Tim Blaber & Emmanuel
In this 2-part seminar, we'll explore together how Ephesians 4 gifts activate the local church as a Gospel movement to impact the world. We’ll also look at the beauty and nature of the church and the role of every disciple to function for the flourishing of local churches in God’s mission.

Biblical Impact : The Power and Limits of Preaching // Mick Taylor & Ollie Elliott
What is preaching uniquely good at?
Why isn't it enough on its own?
How does it contribute to biblical literacy and spiritual depth?
How can we speak sacred truth to secular ears?
Join Mick & Ollie for a thought-provoking conversation.

Gospel Impact : Inspiration and Next Steps // Adrian Holloway
Every Christian leader wants to see people saved and added into the church - but how can we have the kind of gospel impact we long for? Come and learn from evangelists past and present.

  • Mission Impact : Fuelling Gospel Advance (Part 1) // Samir Deokuliar & Kevin Bartlett
Across the globe, leaders are longing for deeper gospel impact and lasting Kingdom transformation in their cities and nations. In part 1 of this 2-part seminar, Kevin looks at how the culture we cultivate in the church deeply impacts on our missional effectiveness. Drawing from the Sermon on the Mount and lessons learned.

Social Action Impact : The Accidental Church Plant - A Decade of Grace in the Slums of Rio // Luke Simone
Since leaving the world of corporate law, Luke made his home among the poor in the heart of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He will share stories from a community scarred by gang violence, where — in the most unlikely of places — the hope of Isaiah 61 is quietly taking root through a ragtag bunch of people choosing to do life together.

Prophetic Impact : Grounding Vision - Cultivating a Healthy Prophetic Culture // Ian Hodgson
A healthy prophetic culture thrives when prophetic insight is grounded in practical application. Yet many prophetically gifted individuals struggle—not due to a lack of vision, but because of challenges in communication, personal insecurity, encountering resistance to their gifting or experiencing disappointment. In this seminar we will explore how we can better support and nurture prophetic voices by learning to weigh and respond to prophecy in ways that promote clarity, relevance, and action. Drawing from scripture and personal experience, we’ll unpack how to activate and release the prophetic in powerful and transformative ways—both within and beyond the church—with the goal of overcoming apathy and skepticism surrounding this vital spiritual gift. Most importantly, there will be space and time for hearing God.

Ephesians 4 Impact : Local Church as a Gospel Movement (Part 2) // Tim Blaber & Emmanuel
In this 2-part seminar, we'll explore together how Ephesians 4 gifts activate the local church as a Gospel movement to impact the world. We’ll also look at the beauty and nature of the church and the role of every disciple to function for the flourishing of local churches in God’s mission.

  • Biblical Impact: The Wonder of Walking in the Word // Becky Peacock
Come and be encouraged about the impact that the bible has on each and every day. We’ll be exploring why walking in the Word of God is essential for us as busy leaders as well as for our broken world. With plenty of practical application, stories and discussion this will be an interactive and encouraging session that will give you pause for thought as well as practical tools that you can apply as soon as you get home.

Mission Impact : Fuelling Gospel Advance (Part 2) // Samir Deokuliar & Kevin Bartlett
Across the globe, leaders are longing for deeper gospel impact and lasting Kingdom transformation in their cities and nations. In part 2, Samir draws from rich Biblical narratives and Indian mission experience to share five essential insights. Each insight offers purpose to inspire, questions to reflect, and practical steps to challenge and implement in your own context.

Prophetic Impact : Lessons on Developing a Healthy Prophetic Culture // Mike Betts
The gift of prophecy rightly used can be a wonderful help to the building up of both individual believers, local churches and indeed whole movements of churches. But what does healthy prophetic culture look like? What helps create a healthy culture and what should be avoided? In this session we will seek to find ways to maximise the intended blessing the prophetic gift brings to the body of Christ.

Gospel Impact : Creating a Culture of Invitation // Chris Kilby
We have a challenge. Our churches can be very welcoming when new visitors step over the threshold, yet statistically 90% of us never consider inviting anyone. Contrast that with the understanding that most of us heard the gospel and came to faith because a friend or family member invited us to something at a church, we can see that we could be missing the greatest evangelistic opportunity right in front of our eyes. This seminar will explore this challenge, and show some ways that we can change the culture of the church and reach many more with the good news.
